Told VW main dealer our car was burning a lot of oil, please have a look, and that's literally all they did… eyeballed the engine, saw no evidence of external leak, and went 'seems fine'! Yup, I could see that myself… the oil is coming out of the exhaust as smoke, not dripping out the bottom…
