The problem you refer to here is the assumption that we are entitled to the best of the best always. We have free will to not devote time to something if we don’t like it or it doesn’t meet our quality bar. It’s worth while going back to the root of just enjoying things for a change.

Talent is over rated. It helps yes. But it’s not a requirement. Show up every day and do a bit better than yesterday. That’s the formula. #gamedev #art

They are valid courses. There’s value and art is a big piece of game dev. It the way they are marketed is misleading. “Learn to make a game” and then I just see environment art curriculum. I think I should just put out educational content on here about making games and how art plays a role.

I see so many game design certificate courses that feel borderline scams. If it’s a purely 3D course call it that. Don’t call it a game design course. it’s misleading to label “become a GD”while only teaching modeling. Pic for the algorithm gods #gamedev
