- There's a lot of forms of democracy.

Repeat clients are my favourite. The better I get to know you and your characters, the better work I can do for you, and I tend to get SUPER invested in the stories of y'all's OCs too. I find myself hoping for repeat comms just so I can imagine what they've been up to since last time.

Official releases are good for accessibility until they aren't.

What do I mean by that? Well, official releases go off the market eventually and become unavailable from the publisher directly, thus becoming driven by the whim of the secondhand market, or digitally wiped from existence.

I feel like this is more common than not

Being on stream is such a different experience and doing so with people you haven't done it with before takes a lot

there's so much lack of accountability in this space- part of the problem is an understandable reflex to defend creators you like, moving the goalpost, and dismissing criticism as harassment

but we all make mistakes- what matters is what we do in the aftermath, how we learn, change, and make amends

as a creator who publicly posts content online, you are open to criticism. if you do something that people have opinions about you can't just accuse anyone who criticizes you of harrassment/dogpiling. there is a huge difference and i think we really should learn it.
