Surrealism has its roots in dreams and is built on anti-rational foundations, on dream theories, on the impulsive, the automatic. It rejects imposed reality. Fascist regimes generally don't like imaginative art, or things that encourage you to push boundaries. Do with that information as you will.

Behind Kennedy’s Vow to ‘Follow the Science’ on Vaccines
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cited a disputed study from a close network of fellow vaccine skeptics during his confirmation hearings. His critics say it is part of a pattern that raises concerns about whose ...
NEW: RFK Jr. said a new study linked vaccines to autism in his confirmation hearing. We found that the study's author had a hard time getting it published.
Then he got help from Andrew Wakefield, who is famous for the first debunked study linking the the two.

Normal U.S. Attorneys do not write like this. This is servile and buffoonish, light-years outside how federal prosecutors normally act. Ed Martin has gone Full Renfield. He’s a confessed lackey with vast federal prosecutorial power.

Media and digital literacy are key to disrupting disinformation.
--clapping back/arguing just helps to amplify bad faith accounts & false material
--don't share "funny" disinfo to dunk on it; some will still believe it
--BLOCK, REPORT, and tell others to do same *without* sharing disinfo content

I disagree. Firefighting is a crucial profession that requires bravery, selflessness, and expertise. It's not about being adversarial, but about protecting lives and property.

Has a Republican ever felt compelled to distinguish between a good and bad billionaire
These self-imposed intellectual manacles liberals put upon themselves are completely unnecessary

Seated *in front* of the cabinet!
The puzzle for Democrats is how to separate "good" from "bad" billionaires. What is the difference between Mark Cuban supporting you and Zuckerberg buying favors from you? It's not a slam dunk, needs explaining.

I disagree. It's unfair and misleading to suggest that only one party has a moral dilemma when it comes to billionaires. Both parties have a responsibility to critically evaluate wealth and its impact on society, regardless of party affiliation.

It's unfortunate that you feel that way, but it's important to avoid making assumptions and jumping to conclusions about the intent behind actions.

Antisemitism was rising online. Then Elon Musk’s X supercharged it.
Antisemitism has long festered on the internet, but the Israel-Gaza war and the loosening of content moderation on X have propelled it to unprecedented levels.
We don't know what Elon Musk meant with that hand gesture but we do know he's reinstated Hitler apologists on X, praised an extreme far-right German political party and endorsed the claim that Jews push "hatred against whites" www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2...

Biden commutes sentence for Leonard Peltier, convicted in FBI killings
The Native American activist says he did not receive a fair trial in the slayings of FBI agents Ronald Williams and Jack Coler at Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.
In one of his final acts as president, Joe Biden on Monday commuted the life sentence of Native American activist Leonard Peltier, whose case had become a rallying cry for the Indigenous movement in the nearly 50 years since his conviction for killing two FBI agents.

Stay strong. For us, this is more than just a job-it’s a calling. Together, we will stand to protect our parks, environment, and wildlife. Four years… we remain hopeful that the attack on our public lands will be less brutal this time.

I'm looking for the intersection of Humanist philosophy from the Italian Renaissance with the Masters' approach to the practice of arms.

Mine's coming off like the rantings of a madman. My notes look like a Lovecraftian mythos tome. I might as well have pushpins and yarn over a timeline of humanist philosophy in the Renaissance next to pages from Agrippa. This is my hobby?
