Remembering Nicholas Ransbottom | RPGFan Over the weekend, we learned some sad news: Nicholas Ransbottom, a contributor to RPGFan, Nintendo Life, IGN, and more, passed away after a long battle with

@rpgfan.bsky.social shared a touching tribute to Nick this morning. He had nothing but fond memories of his time there. They were some of the first to allow him to explore different angles to gaming, and share his thoughts and vulnerabilities to the world.

So every breakfast restaurant ever has them as a side, and they are NEVER ripe. But we don't know that, because it's the same experience every time!

Then one day you encounter a ripe slice or cube by accident and it is transformstive.

Friends, it has taken me several days to muster the strenght to write this post, and by now you have no doubt heard that our wonderful, beautiful, talented Nick has passed in his sleep this Saturday night. Brave, witty and incredibly funny do not even begin to describe the person he was.

Today makes a year since Nick's transplant and our chance to keep writing this story.

Living and working from the hospital for more than a year certainly hasn't been easy, but I'm very greatful to even have this opportunity. Also very proud of the incredible fight he's put up.

To add to that although it's no shocker at this point, I'm surprised about Mark Carney. He didn't strike me as someone willing to wait 4 to 8 years in the opposition but surely he must know what the odds are right now. Is he really here for the long run?
