You can't buy the white sauce in the jar and expect it to actually taste like alfredo sauce, even if that's what they call it. It's so easy to make from scratch and tastes 1,000 times better!

These homemade french dips really hit the spot. The roast slow cooked in the crockpot for over 10 hours. The buns were perfectly toasted. The fries were homemade too, of course. Yum!

Sometimes a homemade pizza really hits the spot! I did a BBQ chicken pizza, my favorite, and a 3-cheese pizza. The pizza dough recipe came from Sugar Spun Run - definitely my favorite.

Summertime = me doing most of the cooking on the grill. I rarely use my oven or stove in the summer months. Last night we did kabobs. Steak, onions, zucchini and red bell pepper. They turned out amazing 😋
