We're working through a book about healing dissociation

Avoided reading it all day to the point of staying awake till 7am

Read it just now. And you know what? I do feel a little bit lighter for that, it helped

Feels like no-one understands all the shit we've been through. No-one ever will understand. Only bits of it at a time, never the whole thing

I feel really fucking isolated tonight. I don't think anyone even knows half the shit from adulthood, the one who did ditched us because they were a bigot

We've been writing out our whole journey, since childhood, with psychiatrists and therapists. And fuck! It's been a lot

So many people failed us or abandoned us. Processing grief & feeling trapped, seeing our dissociation was not noticed

We never gave up we just keep going somehow

Local mental health services were awful before this money-grubbing private business pretending to be NHS took over. Now they're just out-and-out evil

No freedom of information so no accoubtability whatsoever. Profits & huge pay rises for those at the top
