Left photo is the larvae of the elephant hawk moth. The right is the adult.
In September I found 2 elephant hawk moth larvae. I fed them up and overwintered the pupae outside in a wooden box. This evening, 1 beautiful adult emerged! It flew off before I could get white box pics. One more chance! #bugsky #moths #entomology #nature
