[1/5] We’re making meaningful progress, and learning along the way, in advancing our commitments to equity, diversity, inclusion, and decolonization. Our 2024 EDID Progress Update shares where we’ve made strides, the initiatives still underway, and the areas we know require continued focus.

[5/6] Karine Morin a rencontré le cabinet de la ministre Joly afin de plaider en faveur d'une augmentation du financement fédéral pour remédier au sous-investissement dans les SH, et une intégration plus profonde de l’expertise en SH dans la stratégie de recherche et d’innovation du gouvernement.

[4/6] Nous veillons à ce que la voix des sciences humaines du Canada contribue à façonner le programme national de recherche et d’innovation.

[3/6] Because when the HSS are at the table, Canada’s innovation capacity, solutions, and talent pipeline are stronger.

[2/6] Karine Morin met with Minister Joly’s Office (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada) to advocate for increased federal funding to address structural underinvestment in the HSS, and deeper integration of HSS expertise across the government’s research and innovation strategy.

[1/6] We’re making sure the voice of Canada’s humanities and social sciences is part of shaping the nation’s research and innovation agenda.
