I just got through having this HJ Holden restored. My dad bought it new in April 1975. We holidayed in Adelaide that January and went on a tour through that factory. I think that's where they decided on this colour (Persian Sand).

The sun disappearing behind a cloud bank last night. Only a few spots in that one, so all hopes of a decent rain now hang on tomorrow. 🤞

I have heard the beer thing before, but I have also been told it was used like a herb and was common in gardens. 🤷

I spent a fair chunk of yesterday spraying Metsulfuron on some with a boom on our side x side. I hate the stuff and struggle to imagine why it was ever brought out here.

Rare asperitas clouds ripple above New Zealand, creating a surreal, wave-like sky. Recently recognized as a distinct cloud type, their origins remain a mystery, but their beauty is undeniable.

How to make an economist orgasm? Now remember - economists do it with models, so it's no easy thing.

A Pigouvian tax on immobile resources!

Climate change you say? Political leadership where even downsides are upsides? Good math? Let me explain....

Now in 1814 the British landed in Maryland & headed to Washington to unleash chaos

Today they can manage that just fine without us.

"Sprites are TLEs or Transient Luminous Events, that happen above the clouds and are triggered by intense electrical activity in the thunderstorms below," wrote Ayers in an X post showcasing the image. U.S. astronaut Nichole Ayers captured a spectacular view of a phenomenon known as a "sprite" blazing to life above an intense thunderstorm — and she did this while orbiting 400 km above Earth aboard the International Space Station (ISS)

The dust has settled on sowing for the moment, looking back at some drone videos. After some teething and setup issues we've been impressed by the new setup.
The Xerion was very efficient, Boss bar was bulletproof, Simplicity gave us lots of capacity and Liquid Systems should give a boost to crops

Took a while to get the video off the drone, but we were quite impressed with TurnPath as well!

Right, that's fairly significant. Do you think the more you do it the longer it will last?

It's been pretty similar to last year so far, but last year we had plenty of stored moisture from the previous summer rain. This year we have zero stored moisture, so we'll need good rain from now to get a crop at all. đŸ˜Ŧ

Still pretty dry at our place. Had just enough to get crops out of the ground last Friday (18mm), and about 2mm last night apparently. Been delivering feed Barley further south for a few months now, and they have had some decent rain now at least(70mm). But it's cold now and grass will be slow.

Yes it's a big jump from our previous 30' rig. Had a few dramas with hoses blocking, but got that sorted and it went really well*.
*we think! Nothing has come up yet as it didn't rain until last week. 🤞
