How to make an economist orgasm? Now remember - economists do it with models, so it's no easy thing.
A Pigouvian tax on immobile resources!
Climate change you say? Political leadership where even downsides are upsides? Good math? Let me explain....
Had 8mm at Rupanyup so far. Hopefully a bit more heading your way still. π€

Today they can manage that just fine without us.
"Sprites are TLEs or Transient Luminous Events, that happen above the clouds and are triggered by intense electrical activity in the thunderstorms below," wrote Ayers in an X post showcasing the image. "We have a great view above the clouds, so scientists can use these types of pictures to better understand the formation, characteristics, and relationship of TLEs to thunderstorms."
U.S. astronaut Nichole Ayers captured a spectacular view of a phenomenon known as a "sprite" blazing to life above an intense thunderstorm β and she did this while orbiting 400 km above Earth aboard the International Space Station (ISS)

The Xerion was very efficient, Boss bar was bulletproof, Simplicity gave us lots of capacity and Liquid Systems should give a boost to crops
Took a while to get the video off the drone, but we were quite impressed with TurnPath as well!
20.06.2025 00:01 β π 2 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Right, that's fairly significant. Do you think the more you do it the longer it will last?

15.06.2025 01:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's been pretty similar to last year so far, but last year we had plenty of stored moisture from the previous summer rain. This year we have zero stored moisture, so we'll need good rain from now to get a crop at all. π¬
15.06.2025 01:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Still pretty dry at our place. Had just enough to get crops out of the ground last Friday (18mm), and about 2mm last night apparently. Been delivering feed Barley further south for a few months now, and they have had some decent rain now at least(70mm). But it's cold now and grass will be slow.
15.06.2025 01:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yes it's a big jump from our previous 30' rig. Had a few dramas with hoses blocking, but got that sorted and it went really well*.

02.06.2025 11:57 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A deliberately misleading Alcoa ad in todayβs The West.
75% of the jarrah forest strip-mined for bauxite has not been rehabilitated. Not a single hectare has met government rehab completion criteria.
Alcoa has started to rehab 75% but wants you to think it has finished that much. Just total BS.
Probably blowing it out by hand will still have to happen occasionally, but should be much longer intervals you'd think.
