AMERICAN NIGHTMARE is another film considered a slasher but ultimately falls more into the erotic thriller/giallo area. Very sleazy and the 3rd act isn’t a great payoff with the incest spin  and coverup…just feels cheap when the credits roll. Props to making a sleazy
