I have 10 sets of bookmarks inked for Free Comic Book Day, so I'm now open for suggestions for characters to draw on a one. Please, nothing too obscure since we want them be taken by someone at each venue, finding 20 fans of some character that appeared in one comic issue 45 years ago is unlikely.

Got a request from a friend to do the cover for their upcoming horror anthology comic "Macabre Tales" issue 4. The theme is dark romance. This is what I came up with.

Doing them in this assembly line process is easier on my that trying to do one set of 5 from start to finish for reason. Once I get the 8 sets done I'll put a out a call for characters people would like to see bookmarks of.

It's that time of year again; working on bookmarks for Free Comic Book Day. To get started I just sketched poses in the 5-up template. Then I'll add costumes/suits. Then I'll ink. And finally I'll get around to coloring them.
