The same amount of time has passed since I graduated high school as the time I spent between kindergarten and 8th grade.

I'll be real tho: the claude one was done as a last minute decision because I wanted a smaller option for my prints. The original actually has glitter accents. This art print really deserves to have gold foil to capture that, and to be with the other lords (and Byleth) like the original plan was.

Lots of prints I see people buy feature dynamic/action poses. They typically have backgrounds/environments though.

Hm, this is interesting feedback of that. But the yellow isn't quite as vibrant in-person imo. That's kind of a problem with art on screens. Colors may not be accurate.

That "incompleteness" is probably directly related to the lack of backgrounds.

So why exactly? Is the composition better? They seem more interesting? Because there's some kind of environment in the drawing? The composition of my Bleach drawings is fairly similar to the Sicarius one, except he has a wall to sit on.

Bleach and FE definitely sell for some artists, so it's probably not the fandoms being the issue, but how these drawings compare to other prints of these characters.

The only things I can pull out of my current sales records is 1) OCs sell better than Bleach or FE merch and 2) only my prints with some sort of environment or background sell.
Somehow I feel the 2nd thing is the underlying issue; *many* prints I see in con haul posts have some kind of background.

mistakes I know I am NOT making: 1) my print quality. I use a professional printer and the quality is vitually identical to even original traditional art. 2) price. My prints were competitively priced for their size and quality at $20 for US Letter sized prints and $12 for postcard sized.

Shoppers at comic con artist alleys: what makes you want to buy a print from an artist. BESIDES it being a fandom you like. That's the "free space" answer. I need more detailed advice because I have always struggled to sell prints and I'm not entirely sure why.

Bleach seems to have had a few different sets. They're relatively easy to find on TCGplayer so if I def can't find them at LGSs then I have that as a backup.

I guess I'm getting into Union Arena now?? But it depends on whether I can get the booster packs I'm interested in like Bleach and Tokyo Ghoul and build those decks. The Bleach booster is sort of old though...my LGS was like "uhhh good luck finding that one"

I also use Dropbox if ppl prefer that one but personally I find it kind of buggy sometimes and it doesn't give you much space for free

Good thing I stopped using Google Docs the minute I wasn't forced to by the high school curriculum lmaoo. Always hated using GD.

I do use Gdrive to send my comms to clients but since I keep my art in offline backups, it's not a problem if anything gets poofed.
