2. Rothco left strict instructions on how they were to be viewed, and going to the room reminds me of where I have come from. I’m an artist myself, I dread it and adore it at the same time. They are huge, try to get a film of it in situ and you may experience something of it/them.

Well Rothco resonates depression for me. I have suffered myself and when I go to the Seagram Murals ( in Tate London) you can feel the power and the despair. He was commissioned to do for a restaurant, but realised that they were too good for that possibly. They are placed in a dimly lit grey room.

I’m a happy man, I sold fairly well at my gallery opening, with a brilliant opening, buyers, friends and family! I have recently bought a lovely, new for me, beautiful car (Mimi Cooper Convertible). Stoopid?
My dad did similar when he retired, and loved his car, but his was a brand new BMW.
