Shubeik Lubeik was awarded Best Graphic Novel and the Grand Prize of the Cairo Comix Festival. The Hugo, Eisner and Harvey-nominated English translation of Shubeik Lubeik was published by Pantheon Books in the US and received the Excellence in Graphic Literature Award, the Arab-American Book Award, and the Warwick Prize for Women in Translation.
