Would’ve been a good lesson in product and industrial engineering. A lot of teams are taking off the shelf e-ink displays from China and putting them into an enclosure. True test on the branding prowess too if it’s kinda crappy which most of those devices are but spin it as good.

For example, it would have taken a longer time but making a dumb phone isn’t the hardest thing. Could’ve made their own instead of just slapping Kendrick on the lightphone. Easy money of course and you get pretty images quickly

Would be cool to me if these influencer led brand agencies leaned more product oriented. Engineering can be pretty far from Brand tho :/ seems kinda intentional sometimes.
