Also TIL that Bluesky apparently supports videos over two minutes long. Last I heard videos couldn't be over 120 seconds, IDK when that changed.

I wonder if the original L4D intro movie works the same way.

If that's so, then that actually means the Ellis' lines when they get onto the hotel roof with the echo that gets cut off can actually be fixed, right?

Maybe not with a fix from the Steam Workshop, since those can't edit or change the intro movie, but still.

I was messing around with Left 4 Dead 2 voice lines from the game files, and I went to watch the intro movie file, "l4d2_intro.bik," to hear some of the lines.

Well, TIL the intro movie doesn't actually have the voice lines baked into it, which I guess means they're are played back live in-game?

I wonder if r/tipofmyjoystick could ever help me out with any of these with only one single weird-ass description to go off of.

My aunt had another game too, I think it was based off some movie? There was this kid in a city, maybe New York, that was flooding. At one point the kid put on a chef’s hat, and drove across a big bridge on a moped, except one flooded part of the bridge that was almost impossible to get past.

I remember one split screen co-op game my aunt had on her PS2. It started with one guy trying to break the other out of prison, and the only other level I remember was both of them on a train with encased jewellery you had to steal, but I never made it past that one.

One TV show I saw had some animal puppets in a hedge maze during what looked to be sunset. One PC game I played had a cutscene where a taking dog rolled out of a cabinet onto a chequered floor. These are the most unhelpful memories in my brain, why are they still there?

I wish I were able to find the names of all those TV shows and video games I experienced as a kid which seem so weird and interesting in my mind, but the memories I do still have of them are so extremely vague that there’s no way I’ll ever find out what they were.

Why is it that whenever I see a video or photo of someone with long hair, when I compare the length of my hair to theirs, mine is *always* longer (with the sole exception of penguinz0)

After that whole ordeal, someone reached out to me claiming that it's not uncommon for 3kliksphilip to do what he did with me. I've been curious to ask online whether anyone else had a similar experience, but I don't want all of them showing up in all my replies again.

He makes YouTube videos about Counter-Strike, and supposedly fart fetish content as well. In 2024 he, along with his entire following, showed up unprompted in the replies of many of my tweets. I had to block 3kp to put a stop to it, & removed my website from my bio out of fear it'd spread off-site.

Well actually, I guess in the case of Karl Jobst, it was me who went to him and he liked a post I made, not them coming to me like in the case of 3kp and Shayy, but still.

Almost every fucking content creator who has interacted with me in one way or another has eventually turned out to be a giant shithead. It should be taken as a warning sign going forward, if any big content creator interacts with me it’s just an instablock.

but, when i went to fix the desktop icon issue, i noticed my main monitor was zoomed in 115%, meaning this whole time it wasn't truly displaying at 2560x1440.

my new mouse fucking sucks, my new keyboard fucking sucks, *and* my desktop icons automatically move to my second monitor when my pc turns on for some reason.

I *always* have dreams about my dad whenever I take melatonin, I don't know why I even bother with it.

It is weird; for reasons entirely unrelated to Undertale or whatever tf is going on right now, I was literally thinking about Shayy just a few days ago, and then suddenly this happens, whatever it even is that's happening. It does sound pretty concerning.

I'm brushing my teeth, browsing Reddit, and then I see a post about something happening with Shayy since yesterday, which slowly became more and more concerning the more details I read.

Oooh wait nvm I know how I got 25, because initially I had calculated the number of days before I realized that I had accidentally left out the 6th of December in the image. I fixed the error in the image, but never updated the “25 days” count in the text.

Wait it’s 26 total days, wtf? I literally counted them all up when I made the first post, via calculator and in my head, and I got 25 in both. How tf did that happen?
