As long as I'm recommending tech videos that came out today, Veronica Explains has a great video about eliminating streaming. I also don't use streaming services. I haven't tried everything she's recommending, but I can definitely second her recommendation for Jellyfin.

It's interesting the direction this has taken. I was hoping to suggest (circuitously) that any enjoyable thing could be made more efficient by removing the enjoyment, therefore efficiency is undesirable beyond a point. Instead we're trying to justify enjoyment in terms of efficiency.

I ride my bike to work every day and I really enjoy it, but it'd be hard to argue it's an efficient way of getting there....

I guess there's a setting for it. (In my defense, I only use Windows at work. I'm no expert.)

My favorite is how every tab in File Explorer says "C:\Users\Adam\Documents ..." then cuts off.

The tab isn't big enough for the whole path, so you can't tell which tab is which. Microsoft could easily fix it by putting only the folder name on the tab. Instead tabs have been useless FOR YEARS.
