It is insanity to me that we make it harder for students to get an education and then lament a constant brain drain and an inability to innovate. The lack of long term thinking is gobsmacking to me.

As someone who has worked on post sec in Canada for almost two decades I could not like this more! I will never understand how we continually hurt students and then tout science and innovation being critical to our future. We shouldn’t make it harder for people to get an education.
