Greetings from Central Texas! I took another field expedition portions of the Llano Uplift, such as Enchanted Rock, and Devil’s Waterhole. The climb was no joke, but when said there were brine shrimp, my microbe-loving self got excited. Worth it!😂

Ok, just got back from classes. Check these out! I took it on a Motic BA310 in the Sedimentology lab. Seriously, this is why carbonate rocks are my favorite. They look almost alien! Gotta love forams and bryozoans!

So, part of my research deals with microbiology, alongside remote sensing , astrobiology, and marine systems. What makes it hard is that my bacteria don’t metabolize oxygen, they metabolize sulfur..in the arctic. With glacial modeling ahead of me, that means….caffeine! #research #remotesensing

Thing is, I’ve tried that and it’s not budging. I cleared out the nozzle with an eye pin and nothing is coming out, even with it being fully heated. I checked the printer head, and there’s no issues there.
