20. The Vanishing Station, by ana ellickson. I devoured this. It was so good, I love the way magic can be called with music and poetry. I immediately went to see about ordering the sequel and it's not out yet and uggggh I want mooore.

19. The Answer is...Reflections on my life, by Alex trebek. Very good, easy to read, stuff I had never heard before. A good read for jeopardy fans. A bit bittersweet now.

18. The next big fling, by Gabriella gamez. I had a few hours to kill in town, went to the library to kill time and charge my devices, grabbed this and just fucking devoured it. Finished it in a day. Love love love it. 10/10

I cannot stress enough how fucking beautiful and funny and pointent and sad and sobbing this book is. I adored it. Can't wait to start the next one.

15. Hollow Kingdom, a novel by Kira Jane Buxton

I picked this up on a whim. I'm so glad I did. I started reading it to myself but ending up reading it out loud to my partner. We read forty pages tonight, and those 40 pages nearly killed me. I loved this book. We've already ordered the sequel.

14. A Grim Reaper's Guide to Catching a Killer, by Maxie Dara. This was really cute! It took me a second to get into it, but I, like Conner, warmed up to Kathy. I definitely think it's worth the read!

I'm gonna end up buying some special editions of these when I get stable again. Holy shit these books are going to be some of my most annotated.

I had to literally stop reading because I was crying so hard.

There was a twist that was plotted out in front of me for pages and pages and pages and I didn't see it and it absolutely shocked me. This never happens.

Holy shit. This fucking book. This fucking series. Holy shit. Why did I sleep on it for so long. I needed this right now.

12. Amateur: a true story about what makes a man, by Thomas page mcbee. I really loved this one in the end. The way that New York city was described was so crunchy and so tasty. And it seems that mcbee and I have very similar thought patterns at times. Highly recommend, good read.
