I always use SWEET onions

My slow cooker recipe is divine. 1st day, caramelize onions in slow cooker 12 hours. next day add additional ingredients (don’t forget dry Marsala, it‘s a game changer) ,cook another 8 hours. Before putting each bowl in oven topped with toast and gruyère, add 1 TB brandy to each bowl. LIQUID HEAVEN!
