A satyr embraces a young man from behind, gently peeling apart the man's flesh on his chest. Birds emerge from the opening in the man's chest. The man reaches one hand to back to caress the satyr's face, the other presses the satyr's hand to his chest. There's some circular celtic knotwork designs on the borders that further depict the two figures embracing, in case the sexual undertones were too subtle, haha

“draw what you want to be hired for” is sound advice so long as you accept into your heart a great many types of beautiful, heart-touching, arousing art styles and themes are unhireable. unmarketable. draw what you want to connect over. have tea and coffee over. draw a door to a digital salon.

They have long masses of hair cascading down in front of their body to flow down off the bottom of the canvas. Their hands rest delicately in the flowing nest of hair, their right in their lap and their left on their chest. In place of their eyes are blooms of fingers unfurling from their fused centers. Beams of light pour from/to their finger-eyes. Twisting, gnarled roots and vines fill the space behind the figure, with the shapes of hands formed in the roots reaching upward. The piece is not shaded, using intricate line work and flat colors over a paper texture base.
