I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Great writing that manages to touch lightly on politics, sexuality, race and class. The main character is an actor and the scenes around his career rang completely true.

Loved this book. I can see why so many people are raving about Mieko. It’s a well worn trope - School outcasts being bullied but it’s so much more realistic and thought provoking than the norm.
Trigger warning- some graphic bullying/violence

I'd like to see companies spend their money bringing theatre to the regions rather than going to Edinburgh. That includes tours of village halls as well as the local theatres.

Rickie Lee Jones is a hero of mine and I hadn’t realised they’d worked together ( although I always liked Rickie’s version of Showbiz Kids).

Loving this show on Disney. Borderline silly- police procedural meets sitcom.Kaitlin Olsen is a high energy masterclass in comic acting.

We took Tarka on as an older dog and she will take all the food if she can. Dora takes treats very nicely so a treat gets thrown for Tarka to retrieve and then we hand one to Dora.

Tarka and Dora are pleased to see I’m home ( Nothing to do with me turning up the heating and it almost being their teatime!)
