01.10.2025 16:22 β π 54 π 7 π¬ 1 π 0Just looked it up, that's right up my alley thanks. I'm looking for fiction for the holiday but I'll definitely listen to the audio book of this (recently realised that listening to nonfiction works best for me...I didn't expect that)
06.09.2025 08:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I love choosing books for upcoming holidays. Open to recommendations for trip next week.
I have The Dispossessed by Ursula K LeGuin, On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong, and Perfection by Vincenzo Latronico lined up. Cannot wait. Probably need one to two more.
The Robbie Williams soundcheck has just started as I'm having breakfast. He's sounding good singing Feel.

29.07.2025 17:29 β π 20 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0I'm not particularly an Oasis fan but living very close to Croke Park I can say that last night's gig sounded fantastic. I got tickets as a local resident for my brother for tonight and he is in for a great night I'd say.
Great vibe around the local streets too.

Glad to see this reported. The psychological needs of people with dementia and their families are so often unmet. We need to expand access to psychological care including the counselling mentioned here but also many other peri- and post-diagnostic supports.

Great day today at the Memory Clinic Conference arranged by the National Dementia Service and HSE. Very interesting overview of where we came from and where we're going, almost 'state of the nation' style.
Pictured with a bunch of Neuropsychology and Psychology colleagues
The narrow way we do formal meetings & conferences- an agenda to work through, or a panel who do the talking, a few min of Q&A. So many views go unheard.
Myron Rogers says βthe process you use to get to the future is the future you getβ.
We need more creative ways to enable richer participation.

09.05.2025 21:59 β π 5 π 4 π¬ 0 π 0Was pleased to discuss challenges adjusting to life changing diagnoses of PSP and CBD and all things thoughts and feelings today at PSPA Ireland information event at Tallaght University Hospital with colleagues from Neurology, Physiotherapy and Social Work. Some great (and challenging) chats.

Sunday. Usually a quiet day for me. Stay in bed a little late, walk into town to buy fruit, maybe see family, read my books, listen to music, cook, watch a movie. Is it the first or last day of the week?
13.04.2025 08:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm glad to see this included in the programme for government and credit to the Dublin Civic Trust. Mountjoy Sq Park Conservation Plan, Parnell Square library & cultural quarter... long overdue, many headlines generated, little action. These will make a real difference to people's lives and the city
08.04.2025 07:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Great to hear these issues being highlighted. Let's hope this investment actually happens this time. The north Georgian core should be spectacular. Schemes like the Living City Initiative although positive have not fully worked in this area.
