when im feeling down i usually go for a long walk while listening to podcasts

then after that eat some good unhealthy food like fish chips or pastries

finally i binge read manga till late in the night

it has thick stems so it renders well on screen at small sizes

it has ligutures for many common language syntaxes

its installable directly from theterminal in most linux distros, homebrew and winget

personally the test that gives the best value for me are black box system tests that runs api calls in an environment as close to production as feasible

and i do feel like using a real db is the way to go there

if im testing a particular service in isolation i would just use interface mocking

i have not idea if something similar exists for JVM but it also shouldnt be too hard to implement
