Came here to say this. The Bible dragon stories are easily some of the best. A lot of people have preconcluded that they can't say anything meaninful for the times.

Say, "Make your plots. We too are plotting."

It's easy to deny that somebody is acting in their own best interests or that their strategy is profitable. Moving to acceptance opens real options for improving our response

In DR Congo, where messaging is overwhelmingly platformized, I witnessed a student in a classroom showing off the beginning of a bot convo, the sense was of hope that it will magic them through nonsense cirricula, itself thoroughly contested by capitalism. Critical self-sufficiency needs laborers.

I understand the sentiment behind these, and people do also criticize direct investment in the United States, but it's worrisome to see the US so thoroughly succeed in outsourcing blame for the genocide to Israeli citizens.

Prophecy is both prediction and an action; the words themselves reconfigure the future along the prophet's worldview. Authentic prophecy operates on many levels of interpretation and timescales, and (rather importantly) is not blasphemy, but rather good for all beings, and of God.

Congo in particular has strong norms against foreigners taking pictures, one of many protective cultural strategies that are naively bad for business but which carve out dignity and authentically earned power.
