You know my teacher training was pretty good about warning me how hard managing kids would be. It did not prepare me for how would crushing professional development usually is.

This is the game that actually made Gen Con worthless to me. I played in the train game area and thought it was for fun and made an oops. Turns out everything was a tournament there. Avoided it the rest of the con. I think Im more of a small cone for playing for fun person.

Granted a lot of school have lost this awareness and constantly push job skills as if that is the main reason so its partially there fault. But still education is an investment in the future. Its better for us all to live in a smarter society.

Maybe I'm in the wrong, but whenever I see a video of a content creator bitching about high school and how it didn't work for them and they had to do things they didn't want to, I just think of them as completely selfish. School is not about job skills it's about being a less dumb person.
