I agree, plus serves a double purpose - makes people feel smart, but also mops up at the lower end of the 'ability range' (ugh saying but you know what I mean) and avoids disappointment when people feel their kids don't meet the expectation for their age.

What we’re witnessing in America is what happens when disordered discourse captures a political party, then the state itself. The Republican Party was the first to fall - abandoning truth for conspiracy, ideology for grievance, and policy for performative outrage.

Tabletop Game Design Tip of the Day: Maintain and Evolve a Design Principles Document

This is one of the two most impactful changes I've made to my game design practice in the last five years.

You can see the principles document for our main line of games here: bit.ly/underdog-des...

I think Β£50m has to be the minimum too, he still has a very high ceiling. Hopefully they build in lots of add-ons and extras to avoid missing out like in the Gyokeres deal. Although the Β£50m would certainly help to soften that.

What do you think is a reasonable valuation for him? He was being talked about as a 80-100m prospect a year or two ago, that type of price seems off now (could get there with add-ons?!). FWIW jury is very much out for me, could turn out to 'just' be a Chris Wood type player...

In one sense I agree, but equally this is how these policies are talked about/presented by the likes of Trump et al. And so polling against that framing has value, no?

Happy to be educated if I'm misunderstanding something!

Amazon.com

At the mo I think you'll only be able to get Jungle Hustle via Amazon.com - our North America situation is still very very early days!

Hey Pete! Sorry for the slow reply - I'm spending a pleasantly small amount of time on socials at the moment :-)

I'd recommend either Jungle Hustle (a chaotic card trading and bluffing game) or Ninja Hamster Apocalypse Disco (which is like sped up Uno with actions), both would be ideal I think.

Glad to hear it! If you have a minute or two to leave an Amazon review for the game, it'd be much appreciated.

Thanks Mike πŸ‘Š

Thanks! It is definitely a part of the game, as is speed (for name 2). You could argue it's a bit forced when you really think about it (it's more like clay it more than clay it again) but very few will really think too hard about it I think! I personally prefer Clay It Again!

Thanks Ed - I'm leaning 1 right now. Any reason in particular why you think it will appeal more to kids?

Clay it Again it is!

I think it probably does too - although Clay It Again! also has some useful connotations for the gameplay.

I personally prefer Clay It Again! but the other one is coming out ahead on Twitter and here... πŸ€”

Might need to do some 'real-life' asking around.

Help needed for a name for a possible 2025 game...

Which do you prefer?

1. Clay It Again!

2. Ready, Steady, Sculpt!

Just a straight up 1/2 answer is great, but if you want to say anything else you're welcome to.

Thanks in advance!

Knows the club too from his time under Hassenhuttl, would be a great appointment IMO!

Has to go. I think they've left it too late to have any realistic chance of survival but bring someone in who can restore some pride and get them ready for another assault at the Champ. Off the top of my head, I'd go for Corberan I think. Or Potter if he would touch it... Why would he though?!

There are just no words for how bad Southampton are this season. It always seemed highly likely they'd be relegated given how awful their defensive record was last season, but this is truly woeful.

If Martin stays I think they'll hit the lowest ever points tally.

I had a dream last night that United went 1-0 down to City and then Amad got 2 right at the death and we won it 2-1

Now, I'm not saying that this was defintely a premonition but, this was almost certainly a premonition

One final ask as we close our 1st year in business - if you're looking for an Xmas game or a super fun little present, would you consider our games at Party Snail?

They're super fun (check the reviews!), easily portable and colourfully designed.

You'll love it - and I'll appreciate it!

Yeah, confident I'll find one but just wondering if there's a particularly good (or big!) one that people know of :-)

Can anyone recommend a decent football pub near Marylebone Station? Ideally somewhere I could grab a table with a friend and chat whilst watching the game...

Yeah I find it a fundamentally hopeless ideology which also has no positive side effects on influencing our behaviour now (apart from that it's great πŸ˜†). I can deffo see why it bothers people.

But I think we tend to way overplay the opposite in our thinking, so I'm interested!

04.12.2024 15:50 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Your post definitely resonated with me.

I'll never believe we don't have free will (I just can't!!) but I am certain we are all influenced and shaped by stuff outside of our control far more than we think.

I'll be interested to watch this - thanks!
