Or maybe the "I'm judging you" pose.
Mum's cat - sooty having a wriggly zoom yesterday.
There's a tawny owl outside woo-ing away tonight.
My mrs has a bit of paper with a bulldog clip holding it on to cover the lens, plus the teams meetings I've eavesdropped into (shh!) have been mainly blather with little about the job in hand so there's no need for video of her rolling her eyes over & over!
It is when they're marked up 90p each!
I don't think there's any smarties left (I've had a thing for them recently) - I need to stop myself when they have a staff shop at work.
But 4 normal bars of choc for 50p I find instantly irresistible.
I can see a couple or three in amongst everything else here.
Take some! π«
It was meant to stay in the cupboard, but that overflowed and the bag seems to be quite static in volume (I'm forcing myself not to buy any more for now).
Arses. Everything but.
*goes to see if I've got any flumps in the cupboard now*
It's settled down again, antibiotics are finished so we'll see if it stays calm up to my return visit to the dentist to see what he wants to do with it!
Fingers crossed that one goes calmer! (the big days are 5 days apart in June & our wedding anniversary is in the middle)
Yeah, that's my guess too.
Felt as though 111 were concerned I was having a heart attack but not saying as much.
Need to lose a bit, wife lost 15kg having her internal organs sliced, diced & some chucked in the bin but I'm not planning that extreme.
Yeah, that!
Can cause kidney problems so as soon as I could drop them from the pain rota i did (we've got some codeine at home which isn't as reactive, still not great but not as bad)
One booked in north Wales for our April week off (she wants to visit 50 places in this, our turning 50 year)
Hadn't eaten properly from the 22nd of Feb until Wednesday the 4th.
I think there's a tooth coming out soon, but I had pressure from between the front two at the middle (upper set) right across to the last one stage left. I was taking paracetamol & ibuprofen to just keep a lid on it (later realised that ibuprofen can bugger up my blood pressure meds π ).
I'd done a thread of about 10 posts about it, but we'd gone away and spent pretty much the whole week away feeling crap, came home last Friday to find that the toothache I had is/was a massive infection and I've been a bit woozy with antibiotics since then so haven't been at work.
Not too bad now, been a mixed last two weeks but things have just about settled again. (this time it was our healths that were pissing about and not someone else's!)
Absolutely that!
Big filling years ago has a big infection raging underneath it, pain is still radiating along my upper jaw so it's soup for tea with antibiotics. (plus I've got some codeine at home).
Checked the records of my phone and pulse hit 145.
So all in all, would've been better if we'd stopped at home!
Thursday was ruled by that and it was only the combination of ibuprofen and paracetamol that would calm it so I could eat FFS!
Piss poor night's sleep and was ringing our dentist for an emergency apt at 9am this morning before setting off homeward. Got one & was in at 2:50pm, tooth that had a
But plans were made if Wednesday was ok we'd get the train to scarbados - unfortunately the wife's guts did unscheduled disassembly overnight and wrecked her day so we had a little gentle wander around bempton and nursed each other.
Just to not make things easy I got a bit of toothache later on.
Let us out again at 4am with a probable food poisoning outcome, but infection markers were raised.
Back to rental for about 4:45 shattered and we both slept until nearly midday, we got up had something to eat and I promptly fell asleep again for the rest of the day.
Tuesday was still a recovery day.
Wife panicking because of me and also not having a clue where to go and having not driven much since her op in dec '24 her confidence is shot. Praise be for quiet roads at 9:30 on a Sunday night! We got there, & quickly into a cubicle bloods, ecg etc to try and work out what's going on.
Fast forward to 9:15pm and I'd just fallen asleep as my phone rang with this expected call, lovely woman who listened and said I needed to be seen at a&e in Scarborough (30ish min drive) - pulse was still in the 110/120's then, ambulances would be 2ish hours until they could get so we drove.
Went through the questions and the agent said it's come out as an ambulance incident but I've got to pass it on so someone will call in a bit, but because of what it is they shouldn't be too long but it is an 'up to 11 hour wait for it' I said ok, and she ran through the other bits of info they give
So said to the Mrs "you watch telly, I'm off back to bed for a few hours" an hour or so into that and my smartwatch starts mithering at me so I looked at it "resting pulse high 122" it did it three more times before 4pm at which point I gave up and got out of bed, we talked & I rang 111 at 4.30pm
