So, decide what you're wanting to actually do. If you're intending to draw an intersex version of a character, talk to intersex folk, do some research, do that intentionally and say "intersex". If you want to draw a trans version of a character, just say "trans".

Futa's a weird term. In practice it's fetishizing a highly objectified idea of intersex folks, and the online culture around the term tends to fetishize trans women while distancing transness, and for artists it often just signifies the presence of a dick on a female character.
