Ahh makes sense! Similar thing in my case, I'm allergic to a protein present in a whole lot of stuff so I'm pretty much allergic to everything (which supposedly should never become an actual major issue) but then I have bigger specific allergies too :,)

I'm so sorry to hear!! I went through a similar thing right after moving to Japan. If you happen to know what dish caused it, you can always request to be tested for all of the ingredients in it. In my case, blood tests showed nothing so I requested a scratch test even if it can be dangerous

Here's a PSA that food allergies can cause anything from typical gastrointestinal symptoms to drowsiness, fatigue, migraines and just generally fucking up your entire life in ways you don't even understand

Get tested for allergies and keep a food diary!! Your never know until you do!
