Education is by many seen instrumentally as a ticket to the job market, and if there is no job market, there might be just not enough motivation at the individual level to undertake college or even graduate school. 2/3
05.08.2025 17:39 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0My 2 cent: humans might end up looking for meaning in some of the old places. Religion, which has been gradually pushed to the margins of our post-Enlightment society, might make a comebackโnot only because it is comforting, but also because it is typically set aside as a result of education. 1/3

27.05.2025 05:22 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0In or around Lisbon over the next couple of days? Come say hi!
Updated schedule: sites.google.com/view/indeter...
A Frankenstein of old (analog) and new (digital) footage, narratively too thin to not be tedious, and with too much show-don't-tell for non-Chinese viewers to pick up on the trail of cultural references, other than a few obvious ones.

Honor to the people of Iraq.
I got an invitation to contribute to the Journal of Atmospheric Science Research. Too bad I only deal in the supra-celestial.
