โ€œTo create AGI, you must first specify the goal of general intelligence. What does general intelligence do? What problem does it solve? โ€ฆ And my answer to this question, and this is the most important bullet point, is that there's no such thing as the goal of general intelligence,โ€ said Crane.

So SCOTUS, with its fabricated-out-of-thin-air immunity doctrine, has actually made American presidents less accountable than LITERAL royalty.

I hacked ChatGPT and Google's AI โ€“ and it only took 20 minutes I found a way to make AI tell you lies โ€“ and I'm not the only one.

I got a tip that all over the world, people are using a dead-simple hack to manipulate AI behavior. It turns out changing what AI tells other people can be as easy as writing a blog post *on your own website*

I didnโ€™t believe it, so I decided to test it myself www.bbc.com/future/artic...

How does the British government know that I have not been resident in the U.K. since 2017? I have told them nothing, apart from what I tell hmrc, but I donโ€™t have to tell them that. A puzzle!

Good to pursue the claims of this fraudulent twit. But I often wonder how British authorities can be confident about claims about net migration when (a) the U.K. has no such thing as a single legal address; and (b) the U.K. does not check passports on exit

McSweeney pressed for his mentor to get the job. One of the most bizarre shortlists of all time was drawn up: Mandelson, George Osborne and the rugged TV survivalist Bear Grylls, since it was believed he would appeal to Trump, also a star of reality TV. Starmer initially backed Osborne but McSweeney got his way.

My initial impression of this list is it demonstrates two things:
1. The continued overselling of AI and grandiose wishcasting about what it is/will be capable of doing
2. The wild misunderstanding of what these jobs actually do, by smug techbros who don't care about what they don't know
