It’s already beginning to happen. If the little mom and pop board game shop I work in during festival season can’t get games at a price we can resell, we could also be put out of business.

And to be clear, I’m not blaming my shopping issues on ADHD. I think All of the 1st World has an Amazon addiction! You don’t have to be neuro-spicy to have a problem. I’m saying the Level of impulsive and thoughtless spending, partially based on anxiety of running out, makes more sense now.

Following the #ramitsethi #iwillteachyoutoberich plan of automating bills & spending alongside lessening my reliance on Amazon has made me slow WAY DOWN & think about when I actually need things instead of panic buying a week or two ahead of time. But trying to undo my reliance on Amazon for EVERYTHING is teaching me how chaotic that spending was. 1/2

I love this! The more I think about it, the better it is for budgeting too! I’ve switched all my pet supplies purchases to Chewy. So no more wondering which Bezos purchase should be allocated to pets. It’s literally just Chewy and the Vet now.

I’m Finally getting around to an attempt at fixing my #bernina930record #sewingmachine. The replacement fuses arrived a couple of weeks ago. So far, the fuses went in just fine. But I’m not operational yet. I’m going to try fixing my Other Bernina tomorrow. That one just has a foot pedal problem. 🤞🤞

This one is in my #toread list. I keep seeing hit recommended everywhere.

When you do that, pull those bottom leaves straight down and they’ll come off clean. Add the substrate after you snap the leaves. Then your plant doesn’t have to spend energy trying to repair the dying leaves and you get to get rid of the worst looking ones.

You also might want to up pot by an inch. I see you have root nodes that haven’t activated. I was taught to add a layer of substrate to the pot to cover any budding root nodes as soon as you see them. Then if you get root rot on older roots, you might be ok with the new ones.

I have mine in a similar substrate, except the potting soil is replaced with tree fern fiber. And I embraced clear pots. I water when the top of the substrate is Almost dry to the touch And the sidewalls don’t show any moisture. They haven’t dried out yet.

Wow. Another reason to be happy I ditched Spotify.

I hadn’t either until @buehlmeister.bsky.social new release came out last Summer. I don’t buy a ton of physical books anymore because I listen to audiobooks via Libby/Library loan, but when I do order a physical book, I order from here now. Just lower your shipping speed expectations to Pre-Amazon.

I’m not by any means an expert, but I can try to help. I need to know some things first:
1. What is your substrate?
2. What are the temperature and humidity numbers?
3. How often are you watering?
4. How do you decide when it is time to water?
5. What/how often are you feeding it?
6. What light?

Same. I had already switched over to this seller for physical books. Now I’m downloading all my ebooks, which have never even been on a Kindle because I just read from my phone if I’m not listening to the audiobook. Audible books will have to be dealt with as well.
