Can Trump get Congress's approval to cancel much of the money for USAID and PBS / NBC? - harder to pass than the Big Bill - even harder if he tries to do the same for NASA, NOAA, NAS etc This is Trump’s first big test of his ability to force Congress to let him refuse to spend the funding they asked for last year as well as some of the funds for 2026 and 2027.

By 3:30 am EDT, the votes had flipped. I had the House live stream in the background and it suddenly woke up with someone announcing that the bill passed

The votes flipped almost instantly when they filed in.

LisaD tried to find out what changed and so far found nothing.
