Tbh even the “analysis” in the season predictions for The Athletic looks pretty pedestrian.

I don’t even care about the actual predictions - it’s the reasoning behind many of them that’s faulty.

Agreed. I just don’t want Ramsay to leave for an undervalued price simply because he’s been off his game since his injury.

Can you post some links to articles written or videos done by Alex Barker? Several were mentioned during the video, but when I search for “Alex Barker” on the Athletic app, it gives 0 responses for an author by that name, and a Google search was no better.

Villa hold an asset (Watkins), which they value at a certain amount, and do not want to sell. Of course, every player has their price, but that price must at least match Villa’s valuation.

Well, to be fair, no one at #AVFC seemed worried that Boubacar might not sign, but I was already assuming he’d wait to see how the season would go.
