Dead Space 2: Severed has the best opening to a survival horror game ever. The screams of soldiers over comms as they are being slaughtered by Necromorphs while we watch their RIGs flatline is what makes this opening so visceral.

I absolutely loved the Louvre Galleries level in Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness and it’s probably my favourite section of the game so far. Here’s hoping the later levels are just as memorable.

I’m fully aware that Claire Redfield is the evolution of Elza Walker. The solution to this minor issue is simple: give Elza a distinct personality and introduce her as an entirely separate character. People need to stop acting like this is some impossible problem to solve.

I haven't gotten very far with Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness yet, but I'm enjoying it very much so far. It's definitely going to take some time to get used to because of how different it feels from the previous original games.

Now that I've beaten Tomb Raider: Chronicles, I can finally play my most anticipated game from the Tomb Raider: IV-VI Remastered collection: Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness.

Finally finished Tomb Raider: Chronicles and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. That said, I’d still consider it my least favorite of the original series. The chapters are fun, but it feels more like a DLC story expansion pack than a mainline entry. 7/10

I don't care what anyone says; the first two levels of the Ireland chapter in Tomb Raider: Chronicles are peak survival horror with amazing atmosphere, tension and a sense of vulnerability. Hopefully, the final level of the Ireland chapter, Old Mill, is more of the same.

I'm enjoying my time with Tomb Raider: Chronicles so far. Currently on the Russian Submarine chapter, but as much as I'm enjoying the game, I have to admit it's the weakest entry in the original series, not counting AOD because I haven't gotten around to it yet.

The forced structure will discourage players from multiple playthroughs because I don't see many players willing to slog through hours of sections they don't particularly enjoy just to play their favorite sections of the game.

Resident Evil: Requiem should have had two campaigns, one for Grace (survival horror) and another for Leon (action). Capcom shouldn't be forcing players who enjoy survival horror to slog through hours of action sections, and vice versa..

Grace Ashcroft is easily the best thing about Resident Evil: Requiem hands down and it’s not even close. I’m absolutely loving her character so far and I love that her sections feel like old‑school Resident Evil despite the lack of fixed camera angles.

Option 1: You kill off Leon and finally give his character closure, but by doing so you’ll anger the fans.

Option 2: Leon survives, but you ruin his character in the process, once again repeating the same tired story thread of him saving the day for the 1000th time.
