Timing Protects is so satisfying.

It’s wild to me we have really well animated cutscenes in new Pokémon games, but still 0 voice acting.

Pay some actors to give the story life, please.

I didn't mention my match against @tuffdall.as in round 1, which was arguably my hardest one...

Had me on the back foot for the longest time, but managed to disrupt enough to stall that dang grass for just long enough. 😩

This isn't the best water deck, but I wanted to play something that wasn't Turbo Acceleration Wailord.

With just ~6 water energies (4 basics) and Wash Out. I was able to do a lot of fun recycling to make it work, and it comboed VERY well with Articuno.

All in all, really proud of this deck.

My final match was against Turbo Normal. I had a rough opening hand and they were able to get online very quickly.

Luckily I was able to perfectly stall with Wishiwashi for 2 turns, who scattered before death, and come back with a Lapras backed with Ludicolo and Quagsire to outlast the opponents.

In my early match against Fighting, I had to play aggressive because my opponent had a rough starting setup.

Rushing Inteleon lead to some quick KO's and the incredible Drizzile allowed me to quickly call for Silent Lab to prevent any draw from my opponent with the new Solrock/Lunatone combo.
