What a beautiful day to attend a ribbon cutting for the new Enoch Pratt Johnston Square branch. There are so many options for books, movies, games, and computer stations! This is such a fantastic concept for a library/community center/housing unit and it makes me proud to be a Baltimore resident!

Finished “House of Leaves” by @markzdanielewski.bsky.social yesterday. This was a unique take on a “haunted house/presence” story that used multiple angles (pun intended) to tell its tale. It’s a demanding journey but well worth the payoff!

It’s good to have friends who give you thoughtful gifts! Love the Lego Halloween sets!

This was our largest, most engaged Bookclub meet to date! On our one-year anniversary, we met at the Greenmount Cemetery next to Elijah Bon’s Oija board gravesite to discuss Ira Levin’s “Rosemary’s Baby”. The cemetery ground are gorgeous, especially in peak autumn!

Looking for a spooky experience in Maryland? Visited Leech Woods and had a fabulous time! Two spooky haunts and lots of activities on the side.

It’s been a pleasure reading it! I also saw a sequel, which looked cool and I definitely plan to read after this.

Picked this up from the @ministryofbrewing.bsky.social Pints and Pages Book Fair (specifically from the @dreamersbmore.bsky.social table). This anthology edited by @joecorallo.bsky.social and @ericpalicki.bsky.social is a deadly horror tale with a music twist!

My first action figure addition for my bookshelf is none other than a Michael Myers set, bought from The Last Toy Shop in Abingdon, MD!
