So I've been watching season 2 of this Australian crime series, Black Snow. Back around S02E02, I started thinking, "This is the killer," only to change my mind.

I shouldn't have. I WAS FREAKING RIGHT! 🤣🤣 The show is pretty good. A bit generic crime thrillery stuff, but it's like catnip for me.

This isn't meant as a dig at him. I think Nicholas Hoult is one of the greatest actors of the moment. He's so versatile. And he nails Tyler in The Menu as well as Thomas Hutter in Nosferatu. I can't wait for his Lex Luthor in Superman. 🥹

Genuine question: How has Emilia Perez gotten 13 nominations when everything I've heard about it has been "Yeah, this movie is bad." O.o
The Substance and Nosferatu getting nominated is great, though. Maybe the Academy is finally coming around on horror?
