I’d also add Kingdom of Heaven. The director’s cut takes a chopped up mess and turns it into a near masterpiece (but still hampered by one obvious flaw). And the full roadshow version with is a fun watch.

Everything he says is so CEO coded that doesn’t understand how regular people live. Netflix is obsessed with the idea people will refuse to leave their house to do anything anymore. There are three movie theaters within ten minutes of my house and I drive an extra fifteen minutes to the better one.

Los Angeles is amazing. Every time I go out, it’s like being surrounded by people who have never been outside or have even seen another person before. No one knows how to drive even though you have to drive everywhere. Greatest city in the world.

Also, decreasing ads. When you pay for something, having to sit through ads for Google or GMC or whatever is torture and devalues the experience especially with streaming no longer being ad free. Theaters have a very simple path to making the experience better and they seemingly refuse to do it.
