My old dog won't go on normal pee pads even tho in her old age she's horrible about peeing in the house (she was good about it for most her life!) and these she might not clock as pee pad and might use instead of our awful carpet ...

Hell yea!!! I always thought that more people like creatures with wool would have a lot of culture around it, the sheering, the use of the sheered wool, the care of their remaining wool, the DESIGN of their sheering and why, lots to dig into there!

My bird partner also loves flamingos! They are such fascinating shapes!!! Again your designs are just so fun to look at (and draw, in what experience I have with that with your character, but they also look so fun to draw haha) and the fun colors too are just great

Oh I love the ram especially! The design of the sheering vs unsheered wool is such an under used under explored aspect of wool bearing animals in anthro art! LOVE IT

Also, find a good dog behaviorist in your area that you can work with, who can answer your questions with expert knowledge and help with any problem solving and training strategies.

It's wise to go in with caution, ask questions about the prey drive of your new dog - both breed tendencies toward it as well as individual personalities. Especially if it's a larger dog that could harm the cat.

We've both introduced new kitties to our dogs and new dogs to our cats. It just requires some patience, making sure the cat has its own retreat spaces (cat towers as well, gets them out of range of doggies if they want) and teaching new puppies not to chase the kitties when they try to play lol
