My 15-year-old and his friends were just talking about how The Black Stallion (1979) is the best horse movie ever made.

So there are at least a few modern teenagers who agree. 😀

I need to introduce them to National Velvet (1944).

I saw Vince Vaughn speak at UCLA after Swingers (1996) was released.

Several audience members commented on how his character Trent was such an asshole.

Finally one said, “I don’t think Trent was a bad guy…” and Vaughn shouted, “THANK YOU!”

Trent has a good heart, and he’s a caring friend.
