The only leaders I can think of who have come close to giving us what we’re looking for in recent years are @aoc.bsky.social and @sanders.senate.gov, but they’re still trapped in the useless (…unless you’re extremely wealthy) Democratic Party.

Exactly. The left has been screaming into the void for leaders who have a decent platform for years, and instead we’ve progressed to this place where the entire platform of “leftist” (centrist) leaders is “but Trump is bad!!”, which isn’t a platform or anywhere near enough.

& it’s not bad to call your reps. Do it. It can’t hurt. But I have a feeling history is going to look back on this and see that being the main course of action as a mistake.
