Motion for Relief in Prompts and Outputs Production Order Granted Here, the Court granted plaintiff’s motion for relief in a prompts and outputs production order, finding it to be a “misapplication of law”.

In a new development on this case, as reported by Doug Austin, a new decision has found that the original order requiring the production of all ChatGPT prompts and outputs was a "misapplication of law". The argument appears to be regarding whether they relate to fact or opinion work product.
