I think I finally understand why I'm not gaming as much this generation outside of the Switch. You know besides the obvious things like F2P, loot boxes,micro transactions & season passes. I see that games feels the exact same to me. I mean in terms of HOW you play these games as of late.

If you're wondering — one reason to randomly drop a Switch 2 teaser 2.5 months ahead of the proper reveal would be to allow third-party companies to start officially announcing their games for the system

Nintendo has now announced the Switch 2 and while I hate how generic the name is I do get why they named it that. There is NO WAY anyone can be confused about it. I do need to see what it can do besides it being just a “more powerful Switch” like what’s the new cool features? Not excited yet.

Until Nintendo officially announce the successor. I’m leaving under a rock for social media and YouTube. Until then stay safe out there.

Also YouTube will have a leg up when it comes not just the words you muted on the title BUT the thumbnail as well will definitely be better than BlueSky, Thread & Twitter. Yes the words you muted won’t be on your feed on those app, but that doesn’t stop it showing on photos & screenshots. 😩😞

Will this hurt content creators in the gaming space? Maybe, but I’m not doing this out of spite. I love surprises when it comes to gaming and with the Switch Successor releasing soon expect videos and streams left and right day after day discussing about this and that. When there’s 💨 there’s 🔥.

Honestly this feature is the main reason I’m on this app and as much as I hate to say it. It’s the ONLY good thing I can say about new Twitter (I’m never calling it X) as someone whose excited about the future and what’s to come for Nintendo, Sony PlayStation and Microsoft for Xbox. This is cool.

Yes so you can watch the video or stream, BUT it still won’t be shown on your feed and No so you don’t have to worry about anything about and of course it still won’t be on your feed UNTIL you decided to “Unmute” or “reveal” those words. Does this sound silly? Yep. Is it an awesome idea? Yep.

And for those you’re subscribed to you can have a notification saying “Hey the content creator you’re subscribed to has a video or is streaming with a title or thumbnail displayed with a word or words you “muted” or “hide” do you still wish to watch it?” With an option saying Yes and No.

Just send a LENGTHY feedback to YouTube for the option to “Mute” or “Hide” words so if that specific word you muted is in the title and/or thumbnail you’re clear from seeing that on your subscription feed and recommendation feed. Heck they can use that as a feature exclusively for Premium.

Just realized that Rockstar never made a new GTA specifically for the X1/PS4 era. We got three for the PS2 era and two for the PS3 era, but never one for the PS4 era just a port of GTA5 from 360/PS3 to X1/PS4 & XS/PS5. Pretty positive that GTA6 is skipping X1/PS4. Weird imho.
