Like I’m not trying to cinemasins this but if you’re gonna pad out an anemic second act by adding some shitty songs you could have one of them be a little shop of horrors bit where she makes a bunch of green guys like they’re Uruk-hai.

Something that pisses me off about Wicked the more I think about it is that they just ignore the witch's guards, AKA the Winkies. Like they spend all this time and even explain why scarecrow has a gun but ignore the army of guys that have a really famous marching song.

Tip if you’re playing Sektori: don’t ignore the guys that travel on a line!

I like investing in strike but yeah, if you get it you can focus on speed (which is way more useful in a per token basis)

Strike is way more powerful than people give it credit for. Also a tip: the enemies that spawn as a string on pre-defined paths drop a token of their color when you kill all of them sequentially. This is useful if you haven’t gotten an evolve token, make sure you take out the gold guys in a line!

People underestimate how much you need to hit speed on the upgrade stack early game since it helps with glimmer collection and you need, bare minimum, like 3 for the first boss to consistently go smoothly. Also makes closing the distance to tokens way easier.

You’re just constantly trying to juggle surviving and managing your upgrade stack on top of this hot potato of planning dash timing, killing, and accruing glimmer so that you constantly have something to dash into but in motion it’s seamless. This is how ulting in Ninja Gaiden II feels but in 2D.

The way that Sektori’s strike attack reloads when you dash into a token and the way that strike chain functions as a multiplier for the separate kill chain is one of the beautiful things I’ve seen in a game in years. It’s mechanically perfect.

A guy I knew who ended up going off the deep end figured out that the people at the regal didn’t lock the shared fire exits so they could smoke in the hall, so you could just walk out with merch that way.

the "virgin megastore" was a great third place. you could take dates there and shoplift together as a romantic activity. richard branson has so much money and nobody who works there gave a shit, you could just walk out with stuff
