Hugh Daily headshot circa 1882
1. Going to share a few of the more mystifying MLB cold cases over the next few days.
First up, let's talk Hugh "One Arm" Daily, a mercurial and very memorable star hurler in the 1880s. He paced the Union Association with 483 SO in 1884, struck out 19 men in a game, and pitched a no-hitter.

Tom Letcher headshot
1. Yesterday, I found another missing player. Tom Letcher played six games for the Milwaukee club in the 1891 American Association. He hung around the minors until 1912, relocating to Saskatchewan and becoming a Canadian citizen. He bought a homestead in the province and then just vanished.

Depends on how long Game 1 takes. Games typically take about 2 hours. We'll take 10-15 mins between games to snack and hydrate then jump into Game 2.

We will plan to be on Field 1. If there's a bounce house or something else on that field, we'll be on Field 2. Yellow highlights designate free parking areas.

YO! We're playing Hoboken Nine this Sat 8/9 at Noon (two games). Feel free to join us if you'd like? Map below for ease. Field 1 is our typical preference, but if there are bounce houses or a picnic, we go to Field 2. Highlighted areas are where you can park, if you're driving.

A Phillies trivia question at the ballpark asked who was the first Phillies player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Answer: Nap Lajoie (1937)
Lajoie is not on the team's Wall of Fame.

If you're going by compiler/counting stats, Rollins looks unbelievable. But, it's a resume the BBWAA is less interested in. The stats your posting are pretty eye-opening, but they're also selected to fit a narrative.
