I don't have an issue with this - anyone engaged with organizations breaking international law should be restricted. But - the same should equally apply to those fighting with IDF or Israeli Settlers too (both are guilty of same thing).

'Australian Values' is just a media & public friendly dog whistle for saying White/Anglo origin & it's 100% their intention. Even ALP has been using this a lot lately too because it's all about votes.

Have met a lot of very wealthy/powerful folks via work (who I can't name). One incident was at a 'white glove' event in Seattle I was supporting (where many of the top 50 world's richest attended) - was in the toilet & came out to find Alan Joyce & Andrew Penn in queue waiting on me to finish. eeek.

IMO This also feels very much like 'Collective' punishment despite them being Australian citizens & AFIK collective punishment is 100% illegal under International Law. Israel does this to families & entire communities of Palestinians who they say have broken the law (ie. destroy houses/annex land).

Seems like a very harsh judgement call by Albo. It's likely in majority of these cases (given ISIS extremist culture dictates women don't have any power), these women had not travelled o/s by their own choice & this is straight up victim blaming. We can be 100% sure the kids had no say too.

In fact given their dismal do nothing of consequence performance for previous term (and betrayal of their base) I'd almost say this was probably their strategy for the 2025 election too. Dutton snatching defeat from the jaws of victory 6 months out was an unexpected bonus giving them the landslide.

Reality Check: ALP will get it's lowest ever primary vote but they won't care.
1) Ex ALP voters will still pref them higher than LNP so they will win the seats anyhow.
2) Their primary funding is from political donations not election funding.
